Joan and Priya had the pleasure of hosting a networking event along with What Women Want Networking. A group that hosts events all across the country that gives women the chance to maximize their potential in business and make connections with like-minded women that lead to support and friendships.
This event was not only in collaboration with What Women Want Networking, but with the EDGE Charitable Foundation. The foundation, est 2007 in Miami, Florida, provides humanitarian services for victimized and disadvantaged children through the empowerment of Women and Youth. The EDGE Charitable Foundation also started a new chapter in NYC and Tennessee called the Queen Bees, that began last summer!
The chapter works by uniting women who empower each other through sharing, story telling, laughter, inspiration, networking, compassion, empathy and community. All membership dollars go to help the children we impact and membership hours go to women growing in purpose!
This event was lucky enough to have a great speaker, Shira, who is an internationally sought out Psychic Reader, Medium and Pet Communicator. Shira has been reading professionally for more than 25, and is fluent in Tarot Cards. Having a guest like Shira was crucial to the event because she is a highly gifted and spiritual individual. In the past, many of her clients have described her experience as insightful, uplifting and extremely powerful.
Overall this event was a success, and Joan & Priya, along with What Women Want Networking, are looking forward to many similar ones in the future!
